White Water Rafting on the Savegre River
The Savegre is considered one of the cleanest rivers in Central America winding through incredible vistas. Rafting on the Savegre is an authentic full day adventure including relaxation and pure action. This adventure starts with an early drive south of Quepos on an air-conditioned minibus. It takes 1 ½ hours through African oil plantations, teak reforestation projects and incredible landscapes to the river. After a safety briefing we start maneuvering rapids like “Boca Diablo” and “Washing Machine”. We stop on the river shore for a snack of fresh fruits and cookies. After the break we hit the “Screaming Child” rapid and then the river calms until we meet with our mini bus. A five minute drive will take you to Silencio Lodge where a hot Costa Rican meal will be served. After lunch is a 50 minute drive back to Quepos.
Cost: $100 per person (sometimes prices vary slightly)

White Water Rafting on the Naranjo River
The Naranjo River offers an exhilarating, exploding section of whitewater. This river is the natural southern border of Manuel Antonio National Park. The section you will do goes from the town of Villanueva in the mountains to the Llamarón Bridge on the road from Quepos to Dominical. On the six miles of whitewater you will run rapids like “La Piñata”, “El Cesar” & “Robin Hood”. On the second half of the run the river opens up on the Pacific flatlands giving us the opportunity to enjoy the view and see many species of birds like the Ringed King Fisher and the White Ibis. With a little bit of luck we might be able to see one of the crocodiles that live on the river.
Cost: $90 per person (sometimes prices vary slightly)
Duration: Half Day
